Greetings from Asbury Park; well VDNKH Park, Moscow » Petrova’s at VDNKH
The Petrova’s (Rita’s family) before we adjourn for some Sashlik, beer and vodka.
The wife of Rita’s nephew knows a great local Cafe on the edge of VDNKH park. It serves the most fantastic Shashlik (meat kebabs); Muscovites can’t get enough in the warm, Russian summers. We sat outside in the beautiful, warm night air overlooking two great relics of the Soviet era – a Sputnik space rocket and a Tupolev jet airliner (both looked like they couldn’t reach the exit of the park, let alone any further). By the way looks like Alex will soon be the tallest of the clan!! What d’ya think?
