On any weekend new guests can make new friends!!
March 30, 2014It must be something about March. Half term weeks are coming to an end and warmer, Spring weather is in the air. So we always find new guests arriving to stay at the chalet and meet some of our loyal customers who have visited many times!!
- Caroline, Lee, Jo and Huw (R-L as you look) couldn’t have timed their first visit to the chalet better. Warm Spring sunshine greeted them which is always good when you’re having your first lessons. Lee was just dandy – think he enjoyed the experience to.
- Rita (plus new Woman’s Day jacket) with the girls – Yvette, Angela and Alison. And, Alison’s daughter Vicky who was visiting for the first time (R-L). Look at that sunshine!
- Enjoying the sun after a good morning’s skiing in Les Gets and Nyon. Rita joined us and she knew the easy way back to the village so Lee was able to show everyone the progress he had made in just two days!!
- Not everyone knows this but March 8th is International Woman’s day so the girls were on for a bit of indulgence and pampering.
- Yes, its the famous traditional shot – the first one for a while!! Shame about the mist/ haze. Helen, Cath, Nicky, Mark and Alison (L-R) above Les Crosets, Switz. Yep, we’re on our way to Morgins!
- Another favourite spot – always good to enjoy a Swiss Chocolate and maybe, a little tipple? Mark and I had taken the off-piste route to get there. Not a good idea – very crunchy!!
- An old favourite we’d not been at for a while. Half way around the PDS circuit, we usually stop for a nice lunch and a glass of wine or two!
- Not everyone seems to need skis to get across the piste, these days. Just going for a stroll in the warm, Spring sunshine with not a care in the world!
- Dawn and Paul were new guests to the chalet. It was a butiful day – warm, Spring skiing. Not sure they were expecting this – Dawn got distracted by one of Morzine’s many horses that stroll around, off the Joux Plane road.
- Nicky gets in on the act, as well! Look at the view of the Vallee de la Manche in the background.
- The whole chalet was skiing together, on this particular morning. Rita and the Tsar with three different groups of guests. Hope everyone agrees it was a fun w/e – the vinyl got a good airing as well. Hope the back’s better Tim!
