Spring has sprung in the Alps!
March 23, 2015March has seen many guests coming and going from the chalet. Family, friends and one or two new guests have enjoyed skiing in warm sunshine and under deep blue skies. Some such as Alison, Mike and Lesley were on their second visit of the Winter – Thankyou!
- Alison and the girls, my nephew William, his girlfriend Katie and even I get in on the action.
- William and Katie looking cool and very romantic:))
- Alison and her girls lounging at the new bar at the L’Passage RR, right by the top of the Super Morzine Bubble. Perfect location in the warm Spring air – great views!!
- The family (plus a few horses) on the run down from Pleney to the Fys chair.
- Despite lots of sunshine, early in the month we had strong winds. Look closely and you can see the snow blowing off Mont Blanc.
- Pleney, Mont Chery & Roc d’Enfer off the new Serraussaix chair that’s speeded up and made easier the return to Super Morzine.
- Some of our guests just love to come back time and time again! And, why not when you can find fantastic routes to ski. Nicky, Tim, Helen, Mark, Alison and Cath at the traditional Buvette on Grand Paradis with the Dents Blanches behind.
- Nicky, the guys and the gals love to explore different parts of the PDS. A great shot of Chatel from the new Portes du Soleil chair that connects Linga to Super Chatel.
- I always like it when guests are adventurous enough help me discover new routes. In the trees above Super Chatel. Sorry about that Black run we also found, Alison.
- Regular visitors Mike and Lesley with new guests Louise and Steve.
- It did snow a few days in March. Louise and Steve on the blue run down to Morgins. Alas, the buvette half way down was closed but the links were still all open (Mar 23) so we could do the PDS circuit.
- In the wilderness!! Look at the off piste run we came down behind!
- Louise wanted the sun to come out. And, sure enough after a great lunch at the Cafe des Sports – when we got to Super chatel out it came!! So we could do some great skiing through the trees.
- A beautiful early morning sunrise at Chalet Margaritka.
